Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure using the latest technology. An infrastructure engineer ensures all the IT systems that support the business to function efficiently.

Must Have

· 2-4 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, System Administrator, Linux administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
· Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms including Linux/UNIX distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian)
· Windows administration is a plus
· Web server technologies (Tomcat, Apache, NGINX)
· Experience with databases ( Postgres ), networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
· Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
· Very good knowledge with Virtualization, with more than one platform.
· Practical experience with shell scripting, Python or other languages
· Good experience with packages Installation and upgrading.
· Docker Knowledge is a must.
· Cloud and Cloud infrastructure Knowledge.
· Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
· Excellent communication skills
· Basic knowledge of DevOps tools.

Job Responsibilities

· This position will be responsible for the technical communication between the Project team and product
team to ensure the accurate and timely delivery installations, enhancements, upgrades and migrations.
· Install and configure software and hardware.
· Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
· Troubleshoot issues and outages
· Ensure security through access controls, backups.
· Upgrade systems with new releases and models. · Create technical documentation and manuals.
· Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
· Install, upgrade and maintain our system onsite.
